EXPERTISE

FOUNDER
Catharina Alidé Meier holds a Master of Science in Architecture and has more than 10 years of professional experience in various international planning offices and organizations. She has extensive expertise in emergency architecture, planning for informal urban settlements and planning for rural health and education facilities in various countries in Africa and South America. She is currently establishing her own intersectional and interdisciplinary design practice, Alidé Studio.
She is also a strong advocate for making the profession more inclusive and accessible. She is the founder and leader of two networks: Black Creative Builders, a network that aims to bring together young black professionals from the African diaspora working in construction in Europe and Architektinnen* in Berlin, a group dedicated to empowering women* in the architecture industry.
